Below you will find some put and take stories. Most of these come from e-mail and eBay comments. Thanks to everyone who has contributed a story. If you have any other stories to tell, then please send them to ron@putandtake.co.uk.
Many thanks for the "Put and Take". I've lost count of the number of items I've bought on ebay. This was the least expensive but few have given me more pleasure. I found your item by accident while searching for something else. Just the words "put and take" bought back memories of my childhood in the 40s and the information on your website was a pleasure to read. Good luck to you,
Hi Ron
I thought I must just drop you a line and tell you about my dad.
For as long as I can remember, he was always talking about put and take and in fact we thought he was joking with us. For years we have searched antique shops, catalogues etc and I finally came to the conclusion that the game must be defunct.
Couldn't believe it when I asked ebay to search and not only did it show me a picture but introduced me to your web site.
Sadly my dad died last year, as I know it would have really made his day to see his beloved put and take again.
Thanks for the memories!!

Thanks Ron, My husband has been throwing a fit for one of these, and I didn't know what it was called. Paid too much for a dreidel, similar but not what he wanted. Don't know how I found this thing, but was by accident.
He wants it to take to Co. on 27th.
So thank you very much.

Thanks for that!
I got to know about the game when I started to research Pub games etc and a
friend of the family told me about "this unusual game" that she used to
play with her grandmother. She referred to the spinning device as a "TEE
TOTEM" (don't know if it is correct or not) but she seemed sure of her facts
and she also mentioned that the game was popular in very "Christian"
households where dice and cards were seen as the "Devil's instruments". I
assume that the reason for this is that you can fortune tell with dice and
cards and that fortune telling was probably linked to witchcraft in olden
days. I tried to buy the tee totem from this lady but she wouldn't part with
it, saying that it had too much sentimental value. As it turns out it is
quite an unusual one for me anyhow as it is eight sided and quite small. So
small in fact that the words take and put are replaced with the letters P
and T only, followed by the numbers. All Put and Take All are replaced by
the two letters only. Since this time I have only seen 6-sided tee totems and
have purchased 3 different ones, one of them is supposed to be Victorian.
I have introduced the game into my local pub and into a pub down in Suffolk.
A few people are now looking to own their own tee totem, so catching up with
you is very useful.
Do you have any original tee totems or know of anyone who might be
interested in selling one or two duplicates? I would be very interested to
hear from them.
I am quite willing to give out my telephone number to genuine people like
yourself.
Please keep in touch, if you hear of anything and please note I am keen to
obtain a set of bar skittles also.
Bye for now.
Kindest Regards

My uncle has a top that was given to him by a mate from Holland and when the family get together we quite often end up playing with 20cent coins. Hold onto the ?1.50 for now, I may purchase a couple more from you.

Hi Ron
Discovered Put & Take from one of my colleagues whose Mum is in her 80's and waxes lyrical about it. Colleague asked if I could look on e-bay for her as she had seen your letter in Answers to Correspondents in the Daily Mail. This has since provoked much discussion from folk who have fond memories of it. Ordered for my colleague as requested and am now so intrigued have ordered one for myself as I think my children would enjoy playing it! So there you have it!

Thanks Ron, will be putting fiver in post wed morning, did have one of these belonging to the father in law but its gone missing for quite a time now so its great to be able to replace it Kind Regards
My buddies and I had a great time with "the driedel" in years past. The one I had "walked away" after a party we had.
Hi Ron,
Last weekend I was a Jesters party (part of the Shrine) and someone had one. First I ever heard or seen of it.
Didn't even know what it was called so I started looking on ebay the other day. I like to gamble some
and not a big card player and this looks a lot easier than all the card games. So as soon as
Some of my friends see this one they will want one also, so I bid on another one.
Thanks

Hi Ron. Yes I received with thanks. I actually bought this game for my dad who lives in France. Its his 65th birthday and didn't have a clue what to get for him, then I was reading the mail newspaper and saw your article about e-bay hence you know the rest, thanks
Hi Ron
Just like to congratulate you on the excellent service. We play this game every Christmas with friends. My friend is the youngest of six children (56) and the only one left with her put and take. We have given our spare to her brother (66) who is thrilled.

Hi there, we used to play this a few years ago but lost out spinner. Looks
like we all be mad for it again within a few days, we own a pub and quite a
few of the customers have asked about it so maybe you will be hearing from
me shortly, once they see it, for a few more orders, hopefully.
Thanks

Hi Ron,
Yes, I did see your piece in the Mail, I know it can be played with a dice but I thought it better to have the real thing. Simple game and can have some fun with the kids as well.
Thanks a lot, hope you sell many more.
Cheers

Yes- my mum had an old brass one (which has gone missing) and has played it every Xmas for years
Thanks very much for the link. My father is delighted that he is getting a couple of these. He is today sending you a postal order for the amount.

Hi Ron
Gary has in fact bought this on my behalf as he has an e-bay account. With regards to your question, my wife had been looking for some time to find a supplier, many game shops had not even heard of it before, so she was pleased to see your article in the daily Mail. This is a game we played at family gatherings and parties and was enjoyed by both young and old.
Looking forward to playing it again.

My friend who first taught me the game with playing cards about 30 years ago will get a surprise when I present her with one of them; I don't think she's ever met anyone else who has ever heard of it!
I am already signed up with Paypal, and can pay that way if you prefer, but a cheque's O.K. with me too.

Yes, my father-in-law had read about it and remembered playing it years ago, so went for it Thanks
Many thanks Ron.
PS
I suspect it was your letter that I read in the Daily Mail that jogged my memory that such a game existed. I remember my Grandfather playing this with me when I was a child. I did not recall the actual game, just the name.
However, as soon as I saw the picture it brought back a lot of memories.
Kind Regards

I was very interested to read about your game in today's Daily Mail. My friends and I have been playing Put 'N Take with playing cards for years and years and have had endless hours of fun with it!

Hi Ron- Remember me?---- I bought 4 dradles from you a couple of months ago. I live in Columbus, Ohio. I have an 8-sided spinner which adds put 3 and take 3. This tends to build pots a little higher than the 6-sided spinner. We have had $30 to $60 U.S. pots. However I did witness a$300 spin with two contestants calling P or T before spinning. Too rich for my budget! I received my "top" when I worked for Rockwell as a buyer of B 1 B bomber parts in 1985. A Texas, I think, manufacturing company named Henco Ent. Made them as used them as business cards. I had been searching for many of the past 19 years until I found e-bay. I did purchase 5 from a company in California before I found yours. I have always been told the dradle was a Jewish toy from the old country. A friend of mine brought me a larger 6-sided one back from his 2003 visit to Macedonia. Well, that's all I have to contribute on put & take at this time but thanks for the opportunity and for the spinners!!!!!
When I was a boy at school aged 14 yrs, one of my schoolmates brought a plastic version of this game in & we played it for dinner money. 2p a spin or 10p if we were adventurous. I'd be skint for days after....
Anyhow, reaching 34yrs & working in the police I found put n take on ebay & thought I'd invest.... For nostalgia.
now I'm fleecing my workmates.... off duty of course..

Hi Ron
what a fantastic site, great!
I've just taken some more photos of my collection...
Feel free to use them and write about my two put and takes that started my collection Stan and Nancy. My grandparents use to play put and take with us back in the late 70's. We used to play for halfpennies and smarties. It kept us entertained for ages.
Hope you are well I'll add your site to my favourites and keep an eye on things.
Take care

Thank you so much for your reply Ron..it brought a tear to my eye!! What a very kind gesture to offer me a put and take, I can?t wait to show it to my son who has also been on the hunt with us over the years.
I thought I might send a letter to our local newspaper who are always very interested in ?things historical? and it may generate some interest for you.
.
With very grateful thanks

Actually I played it for the first time on New Years night. I won 54 dollars
in dimes. The person that had it said they don't make put and take anymore.
I decided to search it on the internet and I came across your website and
here we are. We played for about 4 1/2 hours

My 84 year-old Gran brings her put-and-take every Christmas which belonged to her Grandfather. Playing for pennies is always the highlight of Christmas and with a few drinks always ends up in fits of laughter.
I look forward to receiving the put-and-takes and promoting the survival of a great gambling tradition.

Ron my package arrived today and I am thrilled. Thank you so much for the silver one. That was a lovely thought and I have gifted it to Heath to remind him of wonderful hours spent with his grandparents when he was but a wee lad. The other brass one is for our youngest son Dan, aged 28, again to remind him of Christmas' passed.
We hope you and yours have a stupendous Christmas

Hi Ron
An elderly lady rang in to Radio Nottingham to ask if any of the listeners knew where she could get a put and take from. She went into great depth trying to describe it but Jeff, the presenter said she must have imagined it (his sense of humour). About an hour later this guy who had turned up at the radio station with a put and take to show Jeff was being interviwed - his dad a railway engineer had made it years and years ago for the family. In between times someone had rung in with your website address and thats how I found you....................I am so excited because when I came down to Notts from the north-east in 1966 it was a favourite game with my husbands family. He is going to be thrilled to play agin..................
So if you get a rush of sales from Notts...you know why.
Thank you for your quick response and have a lovely Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!

Good Morning to you, Ron,
You will be happy to know that I have been playing put and take all of my life. My Mom (who is 88 now) had a top from her childhood. I saw a picture of it on the link below. It is a large wooden one with black, red and wooden colored sides. The game is a family tradition and I have not been able to find it anywhere here is the ?states?. It is the first game I played with my own son?s too, who are 27 and 33. It is easy for young children who have learned to count and they just love it when they can ?take all?. Thanks for making the holidays more special. My grandchildren will be so amazed that I had to go ?international? to find this. Thanks again and have a joyous holiday season.

Hi Ron
Here's a couple of pics as promised. Looked a lot better 40 years ago didn't we ALL!! but then again I think there's 'nowt wrong with how you look NOW!!
You look to have got quite a good collection of Put 'n Takes. I think the only thing I've ever seriously collected has been my Roy Orbison records!!
The Thursday Club all met again yesterday and Doz won THREE houses in the Bingo... we only play ?1.50 a line ?3 a full house :-)
It always amazes us how the members all just keep turning out and turning up but think they just love it for the good old natter. Most of them are away to Blackpool on Monday for 5 days... I'm not going with them because I'm away the following Monday to Scotland with my cousin for a 5 day trip.
Doz has got all sorts planned for them to keep them happy in the Evenings as they stay at the Hilton where there isn't any entertainment. Last year we had the rest of the bus trip join in with us and the Hilton actually let us use one of their empty conference rooms so Doz could run her games of bingo. They'll have a great time. We have used a local tour agent for countless trips and even he now thinks up different tours that we can do. The thing is the club has been running for nigh on 12 years now and most of the members are getting to be in their 80s so it makes it more difficult thinking of things for them to do so that we aren't walking them about so much or tiring them out too much... take Bet for example... here she is, terminally ill with Cancer and still the same as ever... isn't she so amazing? Last week she and Kath slotted off to Scarborough for the week. To be honest I think Kath looks more ill than Bet... probably the strain of losing her best friend sooner or later (hopefully, later) is getting to her. But, they don't seem to be letting anything stop them having fun and getting the most out of life that they can... Gud on 'em!!

Thanks so much Ron.
My uncle has a top that was given to him by a mate from Holland and when the family get together we quite often end up playing with 20cent coins. Hold onto the ?1.50 for now, I may purchase a couple more from you.
All the best

My buddies and I had a great time with "the driedel" in years past. The one I had "walked away" after a party we had.
I am looking for a sterling silver put and take as a gift for a good friend of mine. You might keep me in mind.
I'll visit your website.....Thanks

Just like to congratulate you on the excellent service. We play this game every Christmas with friends. My friend is the youngest of six children (56) and the only one left with her put and take. We have given our spare to her brother (66) who is thrilled.
Thanks again

Hi Ron, received items today, a little larger than my mates but brilliant, many thanks.
Just for info, on my mates instead of "put all" it is actually stamped "all put", reading the rules I guess his was made specially for the "boys game"! Cant wait to show him.
Thanks again

Hi Ron, thanks for the email, have just visited your site, brilliant!!! I was first introduced to "put & take" about 10 years ago by my mate John (hes just turned 65 years young), and only seen one other up until now. Johns is an old brass top, well used. I will print off the info on your site to show him (if thats ok) as I know for a fact he will be very impressed! Will contact you in the near future, hopefully with some stories of his experience of the game as he has had the top for some time. Thanks again.

Hi Ron,
Just a snippit of interest.
I was metal detecting on the site of a 1943/44 WW II US Army camp last week just outside Gloucester.
I dug up this object covered in dirt and I thought it was a wheel nut and put it with the junk.
When I got home and washed it this strange six sided object made of brass emerged with Take 1, Put 2 etc on it's sides.
I have just looked at your web site and I now know what this interesting little object was used for.
This may account for the large amount of pre 1943 coins we found there!
I might try the game next Xmas using matches.

hi ron, the first time i came across this game was in 1971, in a small club which was called the businessmens club.It was situated in the docklands area near tiger bay in cardiff. i can remember as if it was yesterday the amount of money we were playing for was the old 2shillings a go, i came away from there ?6 the worse off. a lesson well learnt i must say. The on good thing was it introduced me to a great game. PUT AND TAKE, cheers, barrie.
Hi Ron, Just to let you know that the brass Put and Take that we collected from your home was the highlight of Grampas Christmas. As we told you, at the time, he had lost his original one that he had lovingly cherished. He had had it during the war and it had great sentimental value to him and he had given up hope of ever seeing another one.
To make his gift extra special we bought a small leather box for him to keep it safe in. We left this gift until last and when he undid the package he had no idea that we had managed to find one for him! The look on his face was brighter than the Christmas tree! That afternoon after Christmas lunch a good session of Put and Take was played and some how I now seem to be short of quite a few coins!
Thank you again for seeing us at such short notice so that we could give this extra special gift to Nana and Grampa this Christmas! It was nice to meet you in person and we hope that more people will take up this very social activity.
Very best wishes and Happy New year 2006

Hello Ron,
Years ago I remember playing a game that my mum brought back with us when we came to the USA after WWII. Mummy was a war bride, and I was born in Oxford. I remembered a small brass top and pennies being given to winners. That was many years ago.
Last night at a Chanukah party I overheard a discussion regarding the dreidal. Not being Jewish I asked how the game was played, the answer started with "you put and take". Memories flooded back of our family sitting around the dining room table on Christmas Eve and playing with a little brass top. The game was Put and Take, result was today I Googled "put and take" and came up with your web page.
Can I order a Put and Take? Tell me how much in US currency and I will send you the money.
Thanks for bringing back a wonderful memory of years gone by.....
Have a Happy Healthy New Year...Angela

My grandad lost his Put & Take a couple of years ago and we have not been able to find him a replacement, thank goodness we found the site, as he's still talks about the disappointment of loosing the game he spend hours playing over the past 50 years.
Could you tell me where you are based and the cost of purchase.
Many thanks

Dear Ron:
Thanks for your Reply. I don't have an exact copy of the P&T in your attachment, but I have one which is similar in which it has a revolving section near the stem which alters the
results. I'll try to get pix of my "different" ones other than the customary brass varieties. I
also have a board game called Put & /Take. One of my prized ones is in Gorham sterling
silver which is about 2-1/2" in diameter & instead of the usual markings, it has the names
of famous horses (e.g. Man O' War, Twenty Grand, etc). It must have been a horse racing
variety. I have some in ivory sold to me by the daughter of Alan Funt (of Candid Camera
fame).
Re the Dreidel (pronounced dray-dl) Song, I'll send the lyrics on the next email, but to get
the sing-songy tune, you'll have to ask any Jewish kid aged 8 to 80. i believe it is sung on
one of the dreidel web sites.

As a collector of Put & Take game pieces I first became interested in them because of
their marked similarity to the dreidel, an ancient Hebrew game, played to tis day by Jewish children during the Festival of Hannukah. Although the concept and rules of the two games are remarkably similar, the dreidel differs in that it has four sides rather than the customary
six-sided put & take. There is even a jingle sung by children about the game: "Dreidel,
dreidel, dreidel."
The shape of the dreidel has remained the same over the centuries: four sided. While
the Put and Take is primarily six-sided, it has many variations ranging from four-sided to
eight sided, and more. For more information about the dreidel game, read the internet
descriptions on the internet under Dreidel or The Dreidel Game..

Many thanks for the Put and Take top that arrived yesterday. It is just what I was looking for. I will be posting positive feedback for you, and would be grateful if you would do the same for me.
Thank you, I spent some time searching the net for these. I did not know what they were called. I finally came acrossed a site that mentioned the jewish game dreidel and found the words put and take and voila there you were. I have only seen these one time in my life we were gambling with it. It is a blast to have a party and gamble with. I thought they would also be great stocking stuffers. Thanks, and have a great day.
Hi Ron,
Thank you very much, I have been looking for a put and take everywhere. I have played the game a number of times and won which makes it even better. But there is also another brass spinner number 1 to 6, which we are not to sure what it is used for so what we do is when it lands on all put we use the second spinner to see how many we all put. Do you sell them also?
Thanks again,
Jackie

Hi Ron
Thank you for sending the P&T. Yes the person in Ireland is my brother Tom and he had a P&T spinner perhaps 60 years ago and somehow he lost it.I think he tried about every shop in Ireland and nobody had even heard of it. He seemed to think that it had a name like a Tetotem or Tutotem! I remember it well. Well I have been searching the net every now and again and two days ago when I came across your site I couldn't believe my luck. Well I rang him in Ireland and he was delighted and I am sending him the history of it from your page.
Well Ron regarding payment, when I phone him your address he will post you the cash by Registered Mail and perhaps you will let me know when you receive it.
I look forward to receiving my P&T Spinner.
Best Regards
Ernie

Hello I am pleased to notify you that the dreidel is a great piece to bring out when sittinh among friends and family, or just while your drinking at the bar. Everyone is intrigued by it, that is why I am writing you. I am very interested in buyin more. Would you be able to help me out with that? I am looking forward to be hearing from you again.

The put and take top is actually a dreidel. It is a jewish childs game. Dreidels usually have jewish hallmarks on the panels depicting religious icons and or sayings. They can also be instructions. Most dsreidels are 6 panelled like your put and take.
I have seen dreidels in Germany and here in the US. I have a 14k solid one I had made, several plastic ones I bought in a Germany toy shop, bakalite ones etc.. I also have one that is in 2 pieces and markings are that of dice. When you spin it it will land so that you have the 2 halves showing two different dice values.

Ron,
Here is my small collection and believe me they are not easy to find!
From left to right, a "dice" putandtake, a plastic German toy, a bakelite with a variation on putting and taking (it has T1-3 and P1,3 and 4), a typical 8 sided P&T and 14k solid gold one I had made. ($750.00).
My first P&T I got from an antique shop. The clerk gave it to me. I think she wanted $5.- for it. I had it thru high school and then lost it at a restaurant. I would carry it everywhere and while sitting waiting on my meal I was spinning it. The server placed the plate so the top was hidden under the lip of the plate. I noticed it gone within 20 minutes of leaving the eatery but by then it was gone. It was 25 years later and by chance I saw 2 at an antique fair. I didn't care how much, I WANT THEM! $30.- for the pair, the plain P&T and the dice P&T.
I hope these are interesting to you.

Hi Heather,
Yes i too played put and take as a child. I used to spent the six weeks holiday with my Grannie in Ireland along with my brothers and sister. My grannies would make us look through her button box to find that special game. It kept us amused for hours day after day. We gambled with the half pence little things. Im sure when i show my daughters how to play it the stakes will be a little higher!.
Im so pleased to think that i soon will have my own put and take and will be able to pass on such a great game.
Many many thanks

Well Ron, I wish I had a great story to add to your website.....But I don?t. I first played ?put and take? in collage with a friend who had a crude version of the top. I have since bought my own little ?pub? and am excited to play the game with my buddies! I have thought about the game for a long time and just happened to punch it into Google and found you. How long do you think it will be before I get my top? Thanks for the POSITIVE feedback on e-Bay! I will leave the same as soon as I get the top.

Hi Ron,
Thans for the P&T which arrived fine. Most interesting and my first ebay
purchase. Interestingly I have been collecting P&Ts for many years and
have several hundred. All of these say 'All put' instead of 'Put all'.
Presumably you started making yours from one that was different in that
regard. Very intriguing!
Happy spinning.

Hi Ron
Thanks for contacting me so promptly.
My cousins and I used to play this game at my grandparents - I have many happy memories of returning home with pockets full of change after playing till late at night!!
Sadly, Grandad passed away recently which has got us all thinking about things he used to enjoy - put and take being one of them of course.
Looking forward to receiving my parcel so I can pass the fun onto my own children (7yrs and 4yrs old)!
Many Thanks
Kerry

I first learned of the game with some Biker friends of mine about 4 years ago. The guy that had the Spinning Top got it from a very bad area of Detroit Michigan and told me it was the only place you could get them, he called it a Dreidel. We played for hours that first time and I was hooked, so I started searching the Internet for Dreidels but could never find a six sided one like these. For the last 4 years I have been looking and just recently found one on EBAY and noticed it referenced as a Put & Take game ? so I started searching under that I am finding tons of them.
Yours is the second one that I have purchased. I am still trying to find one a little bigger, the one I have is about 1 ?? long by approx. 5/8? wide ? I think something around ?? or 7/8? is more the size I want because I want to be able to drill a hole through the top so I can hang it on my Key Chain and have it with me all the time. The one I just received is just to small on the top to drill a hole in it.
When my one friend that has the top rides with us we play, but if he is not with us we are out of luck. We have a great time sitting in the bar having a couple of beers and playing ? now we can do it even more!
Thanks

Hi There
Just to say Many Thanks for all your effort - I received my Put and Take today. Can't wait to see my brother's face when he gets it - like me, he hasn't seen one in over 40 years! I hope you also got the postal orders.
Best regards, Sandra

Hi Ron, Thanks for 'Put & Take' brought back memories as we played this at school, 1940 to 1950, often losing our dinner money, bus fare, but we also won of course. What puzzles me now, is how they became available during the war years when most things were rationed, (they were made of brass) and no doubt should have been used for the manufacture of ammunition, etc.
Mike.
Mike.
actually i've been looking for this forever. one of my
friends dad brought one to a get together and everyone
loved it. i can remember growing up and every
superbowl we would get together and play. i've one
some and lost some but playing never gets old. thanks
a lot.

Hi Ron, I first became a" Dradle" fan when I was working at Rockwell Int .in 1985. I was given an eight-sided spinner from a company in Texas called Henco Ent. They made parts for the B 1 B bomber and passed these out as business cards. We have tried to duplicate them but set up costs have been too restrictive. ($50 each). A couple of months ago I found some on E-Bay from a place in California. I have only seen one other person in Columbus , Ohio with one and that was at a golf outing. I was told that it was an old Jewish children's game. Wherever we play put n take people go crazy and want to buy the spinner on the spot. I have been offered as much as $80 but did not sell it. We also have been asked to leave many bars for gambling for fear they would lose their liquor license. Thanks for the e-mail and thanks for the Put N Takes. Chris I.
Hi Ron, I would be interested in purchasing 4 of your "put and takes". How much would postage be to DeMotte, Indiana, United States of America ? My Grandma was a Bennish, the ruling family of Yugoslovia, before WWII.When her family migrated to America, after the War broke out,she played with a item similar to your "put and take".It was lost. When she become an adult, and married my grandfather,he being a carpenter by trade, made her a set of wooden dice, with the "P" and "T" on the different sides of the dice. She liked her gift, but told us about her cherrished "put and Take" game she played as a child. My mom died in January of this year,I inhereted grandmas dice game. Thanks for selling these, my siblings will go nuts with joy when they find out I located grandmas childhood toys. Please e-mail with postage costs to U.S.A. and will you accept international U.S.Postal money orders(Orange ones)? How can I pay?? My husband won't allow credit card use. Thanks, Susan
Hi Ron,
I recently ran across this game at a local college bar here in the US and have become hooked. The bartender didn't know what the game was called though, so I have been doing some extensive searching on the internet. Seems odd that no one over here makes or sells this wonderful yet addictive game (at least not in the brass or silver). I'm curious as to what it might cost me to get 2 brass and 2 silver pieces sent over to Illinois. What's the easiest way for me to purchase? I don't have an ebay account. Is credit card acceptable? If so how do you guarantee security?
Looking forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Daniel

Hi - I was recently introduced to this game on a recent vacation to Key West , Florida and had a fantastic time playing it ( not to mention I was the big winner of the day ! ) I would like very much to purchase one ( brass ) if you would be so kind as to send me the information on how I might do so.
Thank you !
Mike
Thank you !

Hi thanks for your reply - I heard about this game from my brother-in-law
whose parents used to play with him when he was a young boy. When he saw it
a while ago he bought one and has used it so much that it is wearing out -
my mom, now 84 is enthralled with the game, so I purchased one for her and
one for my brother-in-law. I think they will have a great time with it and
look forward to receiving them from you!!

Hi Ron,
Just a snippit of interest.
Regards,
Don

Hello Ron,
Yes, it is quite in order to put about my find on your web site with a photo. I attach 4 pics so that you can choose which one you prefer. I will keep an eye on your site to see how it looks.
Interestingly in the same vicinity as the dice I also found two 'dog tags' of US soldiers who may possibly have been using this dice. I have traced one William Ball to Duryea, Pennsylvania where his widow is still living. The other is of Francis Olszewsli of Balimore, Maryland but have I not been able to trace the family yet.
All the best,
Don.
